Persons wishing to submit written statements or other exhibits, in place of or in addition to oral statements, may do so at the hearing or by sending them to July Jimenez, PE, FDOT Project Manager, 3400 West Commercial Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33309. All exhibits, comments or written statements postmarked on or before January 30, 2017, will become part of the Public Hearing record.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C §327 and a Memorandum or Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
Documents Available for Review:
The project documents will be available for public review prior to the Public Hearing. They will be available from Thursday, December 29, 2016, through Monday, January 30, 2017, at the following locations:
- Havert L. Fenn Center, 2000 Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce, Florida 34982 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday)
- St. Lucie County Library, Port St. Lucie Branch, 180 SW Prima Vista Boulevard, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983 (9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday).
Both locations will be closed on Monday, January 16 due to the holiday.

An Alternatives Public Workshop was held for this project on June 28, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Havert L. Fenn Center in Fort Pierce.
A Public Kick-off Meeting was held for this project on August 18, 2015 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Havert L. Fenn Center in Fort Pierce. An Elected and Appointed Officials/Agencies Kick-off Meeting was held on the same day at the same location from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
